NTA, but there's a difference between trying and "trying", as in playing once, petering out on stage 2 or 3, deciding shit's unreasonable and stopping. I was the latter for a long time before finally giving it an honest try, getting a normal 1CC with some practice and enjoying myself despite not playing very many shmups before. If someone doesn't like that kind of gameplay then they don't like that kind of gameplay and that's fine, but I think a lot of people can give in to a self-inflicted mental block before giving it an honest try.

Have you practiced against Yuyuko? She has a lot of gimmicky spells that are fairly free after you practice.
