And I don't blame her. Solo ranked is a literal nightmare. Because of the rank resets, platinum is actually master/diamond for the first few weeks of the season. In order to progress you need to be able to take out 2-3 squads per game while placing top 5 consistently. You can get hours of proggress undone your random teammate jumping into thew hotzone. And often times you get such retards several matches in a row. There'll be hours where you're fighting tooth and nail just no minimize your loss and it's demoralising as fuck. A lot of your randoms will be rock bottom, ands since they have nothing to lose they'll just rush to get kills, screwing you over in the process. Some of them just made peace that they're not getting out of their league and are playing the same way as they'd play casual. Master/predator leveling up their smurfs will fuck your shit up for and sometimes it feels half the lobby is that way. Not to mention, just because someone is low rank doesn't mean they're bad. You could get master opponents who no longer care about rank trashing low leagues. There's dumbasses you just don't understand the math and will scream at you for trying to play smart insead of chasing kills.
