To me honestly, the whole all captains changing thing makes it seem like they had a reason to get rid of one of them as a captain (Yukirin close to a scandal? Takamina tired of being captain?) but they didn't want to single them out so they named all new captains.

Sayaka will definitely remain The Captain of team K. Yuko and Mariko are both too busy to be around for the team - ah well, at least we know the two of them aren't graduating any time soon.
