Smiling with a pretense of that breezy and carefree attitude she was so well known for, “Of course, Seiga-san is simply too observant to not notice the writing on the walls” flattery never hurt, “It is as you think, I need help in holding back those ‘hussies’ from dismantling this place”

With a mock frown she placed a hand over her own heart, “I will add however, that I am hurt you would think this place is merely some kind of diversion to sate my own desire for amusement~”

The wicked hermit was the picture perfect ideal of the affable guest, “Oh my Yukari-chan, there’s no need for pretense with me” she shook her head as she giggled, “This place is quiet a wonderful thing you have going on and Anon is so well trained! I quite admire how much control you have over him and the entirely of Gensokyo without seeming to even lift a muscle. Say, have you considered Taoism? It may just suit you more than you think~”

In hindsight, there was no surprise that Seiga would be able to see a shadow of the purpose of this place. The blue hermit’s wink and casual offer was bounced off Yukari like rubber ball as she kept up the casual conversation, “Your offer is as generous as your compliments, and how nice for it to be as unclouded with that petty morality that Kasen-san seems to think this place lacks.”

Leaning forward slightly Seiga mentioned with a slightly conspiratorial air, “Kasen-chan is quite the moral busybody, isn’t she? Why I wouldn’t be surprised if she filling up that Hakurei miko and her daughter with all sorts of non-sense like how wrong it is~!”

Oh, did she not know Kasen was a regular here? No way she could know of how deep her hooks went, but it could simply be a ruse. Maybe she was even trying to get Yukari to think she had the upper hand here, which Yukari did, but nevertheless it was admirable and that cunning mind was what she needed.

Sighing as she leaned back at a precise angle of 68.65 degrees, showing her exhaustion without seeming like she was checking out of the conversation, “Once again you are right, frighteningly so I must add. Its true, I have been beset by enemies on all sides with only few I can bring into my inner circle. Allies are so hard to come by when everyone is so worked up about nothing”

Yukari drifted back up into a proper sitting position as she gauged Seiga’s face, it was unreadable aside from a good bit of cunning behind those friendly eyes, perfect. Letting her voice harden back into ‘business mode’ Yukari continued, “Which is why, as you have already guessed I would like to secure your cooperation in continuing my little slice of fun”

For the first time the platter of tea and snacks were touched as Seiga reached for one of the steaming cups of tea and Yukari followed suit, a good sign. Seiga spoke up after taking a delicate sip and sighing in satisfaction while holding her cheek in her free hand, “Why of course, if it’s a request directly from Yukari-chan It wouldn’t be out of all possibility that I could help. That said…”

Frowning cutely and letting a pout form as her eyebrows furrowed lightly she rang out in a slightly melancholic voice, “Anon-san may be a fun diversion and a sure way to brighten my day, but if Miko-chan or that bothersome ghost were find my involvement it’d only work to hamper the spread of Taoism far and wide~” shrugging added on last little detail, “if there was some sort of compensation to help negate that risk I’d love to help preserve my own fun”

There it was, the real meat of this conversation. Yukari grinned with sincerity as she leaned forward onto her desk, letting her fingers knit as she rests her chin on the back of her hands. The forelocks of her blonde hair fell and almost brushed the desk below her as her eyes locked onto the sage’s own, “It would be truly unfitting to ask a favor of the great hermit who could make kings without any recompensate.”

It wouldn’t take much but she’d better play it safely, “Tell me, do you observe the others that come and go much?” With a nod Seiga answered, “Very good, very good… I am sure a hermit like you can sense the new life forming in the women that come and go, yes?”

Yukari didn’t wait for an answer this time, “Simply speaking there will be many women who cannot take care of those children, human and youkai alike. Before the first birth shall take place this facility will have served its purpose, and who else but a caring sage has the resources to take care of and raise all those children?” Yukari sat up straight now, she knew she had Seiga’s rapt attention, “Seiga Nyan Nyan’s love of human children is well known to me, and as such I promise you that should you help guarantee me my victory it would only be right to allow you to work as closely with the little wards you so love and cherish!”

Seeing a gleam in Seiga’s eye and smile that showed only darkness behind its lips, Yukari knew she’d have a new ally to work with.

Since there are retarded children tourists here who were raised to pretend to have negative IQ, I'll explain it in their favorite epic greentext form so they can understand
I'll even throw in a bone through food analogy so you can piece it together
>be japanese restaurant
>one day, japanese restaurant gets a new japanese dish
>it came from Japan originally and even has story on how it was made
>one day, a customer says you should serve this italian dish in his restaurant too
>confused, you ask why would a Italian dish would be in a japanese restaurant
>he explains how the recipe has ingredients from another japanese dish, the same japanese dish that got popular lately
>still confused, you ask how a italian dish would be considered japanese when it's entirely different
>customer starts getting upset and argues that since it has japanese ingredients, it's japanese
>explain how said dish can't be japanese from ingredients alone
>customer gets irate and yells how other dishes that has ingredients shouldn't be considered japanese either
>tell him it has to come from Japan originally, it just can't be made on a whim and slap a label that it's japanese
>customer still insists that it's wrong, the whole place should be shut down then because his dish can't be part of the restaurant
Are you done yet or do you want a drawing next explaining how's your reasoning is beyond dragging-butt ape retarded?
