Anon, this type of male "monster" has been around ever since the matango profile's talk of mushroom men (though that might get retconned as not inevitable given the changes associated with the rpg matango). The point of the "no male monsters" thing was never about KC disliking monster boys (if I recall right a early Q and A had him note he does like them), he simply didn't want them to interfere with monsters seeking human husbands. Thus transformation was the viable alternative.

Yeah, it's looking like the rpg (if it ever comes out) will be revamping them a bit more to make them more accessible as mates.

Here's a quick summary of what KC said:

1. The game has (to no one's surprise) been delayed.
2. However, the CGs of the monsters that have been included are almost all done. KC notes he thinks he's gotten better at drawing the sex CGs and can do them faster now.
3. The delay is due to the sheer amount of text involved in all the monster's sex scenes. Apparently writing it all up is proving challenging. Likewise it would seem KC does not want to compromise on this, though I think most of us would be fine with less dialog.
4. He notes how the profile of the matango claims they can't move about on their own, but indicates that the "stylish" matnago in the RPG will show us what a matango that has had enough sex can do (presumably they get to be fully mobile).
5. Matango is technically nude, all the stylish "clothing" is just more mushroom.
6. We also learn a bit about the original matango's art. There are two of them because they are sisters who fell in love with the same man. It seems when matango grow together like this it is usually because they are targeting the same man.

KC being almost done with the art makes me wonder if we might get new profiles more often now.
