Don't. Oculus released the OG Rift, the CV1, in 2016 and they haven't built a better headset since. The Rift S is a sidegrade at best and the rest is "muh standalone" shit.

Get a HP Reverb G2. Cheaper than an Index, has the kino index audio solution, and an even better screen. Only thing you're missing out on is the (frankly amazing) index controllers, but the HP ones are perfectly fine.
