It's a play wrapped around a concert.
You remember those team concerts they were supposed to do in January, where they performed songs from different eras? Well this is in a parallel universe where those concerts happened, and Yuiyui is trying to liven things up before the concert by having impromptu "auditions" among the member for cutest smile (EKB - Egao Kawaii Banchou), sharpest movements (UKB - Ugoki Kireshiteru Banchou), most heartwrenching karaoke (KKB - Kyunshiteru Karaoke Banchou). Then a celebrity pretends to audition to join the group, gets asked a bunch of questions by members, performs heavy rotation, etc. Then finally the "Concert" starts, with an abbreviated selection of songs.

At least that's what I got out of it, but my Japanese is uh...

It's pretty obvious Yuiyui is just speaking lines from a script, though sometimes the line goes so badly with something unscripted that just happened that it's hilarious.
