We have a family friend, who works in our clinic. He is a dentist, overweight and smokes(smoked) a pack of cigarettes per day.

He eventually had a heart attack, and we had to drag his soiled self out of his office. Tobacco is now taboo for him and his normally amiable self has turned grumpy because he is an addict to nicotine. He is also become a lot more interested in spirituality and faith.

I guess it takes Komachi's massive assets in order for one to consider their own mortality.
