Keeping the border during spells will raise the value of the cherry items, meaning they will help you get more borders for less cherry items.

The score itself only gives you extends on EoSD, MoF and HSiFS. In PCB and IN, it is the amount of point items what gives you extends like collecting 50 of them.

Her spells will change accordion to what shottype you choose anon. Get used to this, in most games s4 boss have some variation depending on that and other stuff.
I recommend you to play ReimuA, she may take a bit more to kill bosses, but it will make your stages easier, Patchouli's easier cards are for her too and since she has homing, you can focus more in dodging rather than looking where the boss is.

Are tiny bullets a problem? Think of Miko's final spell like Kaguya's, you only need to stream it vertically.
