Waifuism is truly an amusing tragedy. The idea of an afterlife is simply a comforting myth, created by some to cope with their fear of death and the unknown, and that also creates a dangerous distraction from this life, the only one we know for sure exists. The same goes for the entire multi-universe mentality. Many people become so obsessed with their fantasies that they fail to appreciate the beauty and richness of the life they currently have, or they just give up on improving it and choose the loser's path living in a perpetual state of longing instead of acting.
You won't find your waifu/husbando anywhere. They are mere concepts that exist only in the minds of their creators, and if someone real can create such concepts and touch you so deeply, why give up on real people? True beauty can only be created and made real in this reality we share together (babies, families), and true love can only be found in real life.
All I have to tell you boys is to man up or be punched in the balls, life is too short to wait for a miracle, good luck.
