I can't help but disagree, but whatever anon.

I guess this is my point, though. We can all come here and grouse about our different interpretations of what it means to be monsterized, whether the DL is a shit or not, and all these different perspectives are good things. I think it was Umberto Eco who said that "A good story is a machine for generating interpretations".
Which just makes KC's insistence that "NO IT'S ALL RAINBOWS STOP THINKING THAT" is doubly incomprehensible. It's like, he's done good by creating heroes and villains who are morally ambiguous, but then he's trying to deny that success by insisting "No, youve got it all wrong, they're simplistic, cartoonish black and white caricatures!"
