Not sure, I can only tell you how I learned it.
Did Heisigs Kana Book first, then RTK1.

Afterwards I did Core 1000+2000, which I'm very fast and currently doing Core 3000.
Most of the time was spent learning through Heisigs RTK1.

It's not as fast as he describes, but it's mostly because of my lack of motivation and ability to concentrate.

But I'm sure as always this will turn into a shitstorm between heisig/non-heisig fags.

Also forgot to say that /jp/ doesn't care about japan.
mfw over 100 replies and posts about religion or racism in japan.
