Not the million streak, but it did break another streak. KnP was the only SSK single to sell less than the single after since the million streak began.

Couldn't find the chart so I made another one.

The sakura singles are Kimi wa Melody (obviously), Green Flash, Mae Shika Mukanee, So Long!, Give Me Five, and Sakura no Ki ni Naro. There were a couple disaster singles (KnBMB, Kokoro no Placard) that bucked the trend, but otherwise sales spike at the voting single, then decrease until the sakura single before spiking again.

Janken singles omitted. There's a reason they don't count them anymore.

Everyday Kachuusha was the start of the Million Seller streak, so the yearly average was still on an incline in 2011, before it levelled off in 2012. Hence why Flying Get sold more than the voting single.
