>how come DMM sold all their studios in a fire sale? it only earned them 30% of all their profits
I never argued about profit, but more of influence on operation and treatment of the talents.
>why would organized crime let them be?
Because they already got their share, it's that simple. If you're the Yakuza ruling the turf why would you bother to interfere and micro-manage those small businesses that already pay their tributes diligently.
Free booking is more vulnerable to abuse and nothing wrong with agencies like C-More also recruiting non-porn talents, that's just business sense like how non-porn talent agencies can manage different branch of entertainers like singers, actors, comedians etc all in one roof. In case of C-More they don't hide that they're mainly provide talents for AV. They advertised it front and center.
I said "they just want to make porn" referring broadly to people who willingly joined the industry because they have some passion and ideas, why would you spin that to questioning a talent agency expanding their business normally as suspicious move.
Look, go all gloom and doom all you want, I'm not pretending it's all happy sunshine over there too, just giving some common sense because reality is the boring one in the middle.
