Well I've read it and I have to apologize but with all due respect, we are likely going to keep disagreeing on this game. I don't think it was worse than Schatten (granted I've read it one and a half year ago already). I've thought that the fights involving nekketsu characters were awesome, the fights involving shitty characters are shitty (Himika argh), just like my experiences with Schatten. What's the most important to me, and the whole reason I am/was expecting this game, that those battles did get me all 燃える, which is something kinda rare for me.
That said, I didn't like the protag and half the heroines though, but I anticipated that.

I'm totally fired up for hearing more Shirayuki and Eiji speeches in the full game.

Also I don't think it'd be continuous time loop. Sure I can easily imagine a loop on the 22th, but I'd rather believe that he rolls back X time backward, and then you'd get choices on how to change shit happening which would decide your route.

I don't think anyone on /jp/ is truly a bad person. When I first came here I noticed it was filled with perverted NEET weirdos-but harmless perverted NEET weirdos. They act like jerks but they're just like any other human being-they just want to be treated decently and never got that in life which is how they wound up here in the first place. I figure that everyone on this board has their fair deal of shit to deal with and the least we can do is be decent to eachother. Not nice-but at least respectful.

Here's my idea: For at least one week /jp/ tries to be nice.

Yeah, I personally don't like villains like him. That doesn't mean everyone liking those are bad and they should change their personal taste. I hope I didn't offend you somehow.

I enjoyed umineko ep 1-3 more than anything in higurashi, but I felt it takes a nosedive after that, lowering its enjoyability a lot.
I'll have to see the last episode to make a proper comparison between them deciding which one I found to be better.

Yeah they are translated by amaterasu. Check them out, it should be posted somewhere on their blog and the forum.
Well, Kia didn't sit me well. It might be just me, but I feel they tried too hard on making her moe (you likely disagree if you indeed adore her).
I've had other issues with it, like the really odd partial voiceacting (you don't hear any voices for an hour, then all of a sudden some side character voices a few sentences, and then everything silent again).
Or that you meet sidecharacter X, who takes a role for one / two chapters, or even all the way throughout the story, who just vanishes all of a sudden. They really could have polished up the sidecharacters a bit in my opinion.
Well that might be just me. Take no offense in it.
