/jp/, to be perfectly honest, I think I prefer 3D girls. My only problem is that I prefer 3D girls that have features more associated with 2D girls - particularly their personalities, brightly dyed hair, interesting outfits, etc.

A lot of people find that things that look good in 2D don't translate well into reality - blue hair is fine on a 2D girl but looks silly in real life, if it's done right I feel the opposite, it's spread around willy nilly in animu style drawings but if it's done right in real life, it looks nicer since it has more texture.

By extension too, I don't like those overly made up or photoshopped looking cosplayers I sometimes see get posed. I like imperfections, it's probably why I prefer 2D.

It kinda reminds me of how for example with Spider-man and the better designed comic book movie costumes, they went with the same costumes, but gave them a more "realistic" texture, and it felt so much better than trying to be "realistic" by putting everyone in leather or boring outfits(normal 3D girls). That's how I feel about a 3D girl that has the look of a 2D girl, but pulls it off well. Does /jp/ understand? Is anyone else just attracted to things 2D girls tend to have rather than the "perfect" nature of 2D?
