When exactly did Touhou take off in Japanese Doujin circles? From what I've seen the PC-98 era was more obscure and it took the windows era to cause more people to go back and play them. My guess is somewhere between PCB and IN since those two along with ESoD are the "common" casts of characters used in doujins.
