Do any of you happen to know much about the impact of the phrase:

"I'm going to buy some condoms"?

I'm considering saying it to a girl tomorrow. I know what it means in english, but I'm not sure how appropriate/inappropriate it'd be.

All I know is that if someone said that to my japanese friend, she "would be cry"...
