Probably from backstage footage of the 56th NHK Kouhaku New Years show 2005.12.31. Natsu Mayuri sensei acted as choreographer for MM in their earlier days. She says some words to them that make them emotional. That's what it was as far as I can find out, getting good info let alone video from past Kouhaku shows is surprisingly difficult. Sources:
