You understand Melody managed to hit the mainstream english media harder than any vtuber ever has, even if only for a moment, and you actually had the thought "hm, the english side of the world will never latch onto anyone but Hololive"? And with China where they lifted Kanna into the same status that was comparable to Mea at her height there, and then dropped her a month or two later? With the Japanese side of the world things are much less volatile, but you chose the literal two worst examples you could have possible picked; a country with a 7th of the worlds population and a language that is arguably "The worlds" language, and expect either of them to be anything but explosively volatile?
