Anons, there are a lot of references to the hebrew religions in the pc-98 games. just look at Sariel!
We also have things like Mai's theme (Treacherous Maiden ~ Judas Kiss). The PC-98 games make many references to Shin Megami Tensei.
In the Windows era there are almost no references. But Seiga and Rumia seem to have a vague idea on the subject.
I still don't see a problem with ZUN placing a Christian character. It's not as if Buddhism and Taoism don't have things in which they contradict each other and that's not why they can't enter Gensokyo. It's just that ZUN might be afraid of ending up offending someone or something. And I'm not saying this for Christians but for Western atheists who get mad when they see something Christian, but they don't say anything if it's from Nordic or Greek mythology, to give an example.
