There are other PC98 emulators, though I don't know if any of them are exactly what you're looking for. I use Anex86, which is pretty bare-bones, but remembers the last hard drive you loaded and the last folder you looked for one in, so playing any of the games is just a matter of a few clicks.

How obsessed with convenience are you, though? Do you play the PC98 games so often that it really matters how you launch them?
