I can see this too some extent, monsters by definition wouldn't have a human's psychology and thus I could see some monsters to be strong minded and more resistant.
However, don't forget that there are a lot of magics and substances that affect the mind in the setting and for the most part monsters are not immune to their effects meaning that they can have an altered mental state or be affected by various things in their surroundings. I don't care to talk about mentally scarring them but feeling bad and being shocked by horrible things and sights shouldn't be a surprise.

Though all in all; its a joke, don't take it so seriously. However, 8/10 post you activated my autism
