Today's episode has finished airing.

Rika wakes up in her bed horrified, Satoko appears telling her that she just had a nightmare, but Rika says she's in pain. Satoko removes Rika's bedsheets to reveal...something, tv censors completely blacked it out so it's probably bloody. Satoko then proceeds to gut her with the hoe Rika uses in her festival dance. Satoko is L5 and scratching her neck but unlike every other victim, she is 100% calm and collected. Rika suddenly appears in the meta world talking to her 15 year old self, and then in Hinamizawa. Cut back to Satoko gutting her, they tearfully embrace one last time and Rika dies, her hand goes from making a "1" into a closed fist. Apparently Satoko knows about other worlds and is trying to help Rika?

Rika wakes up and goes to play in the river with her friends, that's right, it's the swimsuit episode, but the scene is extremely short. Afterwards, Rika tells Satoko that she loves Hinamizawa. Days go by and watanagashi happens. Rika's friends watch her dance and as they're leaving Rika spots Tomitake in the woods. She goes to chase him but Takano appears.

I left out a lot of dialogue details.
