Because in the end, it is unrealistic for a hardened knight king like Saber to fall for a japanese teenager. I like Saber and the fate route a lot, but you need to forget what she really is and the life she had to suspend your disbelief and enjoy her love for Shirou. Rin and Sakura are more realistic lovers, but Rin is more like a good friend and Sakura acts like a devoted wife that is always thinking about you.

These people are out of touch, not unlike some jap devs.
Most pirating the remake are doing so because there is no PC release or translation. It is my case, for example, I don't have any console and I don't know enough japanese to read it, so it would feel very dumb to buy it, specially because I don't own a console. I would even buy the game if it had a PC release, because I know that I could at least read it with a mtl translation or wait for some group to do it.

I actually think that Type-Moon is loosing a lot of money by not releasing it on PC or at least announcing an intent to translate. I believe that there is a lot of people like me, that would have bought the game on PC even without the translation.
Piracy is happening because the company choose to narrow its target audience to a specific market share and kept this product out of reach from part of its demand, that have little reason to buy it as it is.
