I've always loved Madonna but I think their current roster has the most actresses I love compared to any other simultaneously active lineup of theirs in the past
>Maki Hojo
>Maki Tomoda
>Momoko Isshiki
>Yuka Oshima
>Yuka Mizuno (yes i know, still have a soft spot for her + she's a more intense performer now after bogging)
>Yuka Tada (concubine energy off the charts, nice screenshot btw sir)
>Kana Mito
>Ryo Ayumi
>Aoi Ichino
>Kanna Fuji
>Ai Mukai
>Marina Shiraishi
>Reiko Seo
>Yuna Shiina
>Aya Ueha
>Nao Jinguji
>Yumi Kazama
>Rieko Hiraoka
>Yumi Anno
>Yuu Shinoda
>Ririko Kinoshita
>Mariko Sata

it's fkn absurd how much talent is at one studio. the regular freelance features like Sora Amakawa, Kana Morisawa (yes, i know), etc etc are great as well and a few of the new debuts look pretty promising too like
>Nami Okimiya
>Sayuri Hayama
>Kiyoka Toyosaki
>Mirei Tojo

it's Madonna's 25th year anniversary in December so i wonder what kino they'll have prepared for us involving the roster. the 20th anniversary work was legendary

you are correct! I've posted the following before but maybe it'll be of interest:

Madonna started with JUK- (from "jukujo" - 熟女 - "mature woman") with their codes back in the VHS cassette days, with JUKD- being used for the some of the same titles as digital (i.e. CD) releases. The D designation quickly became superfluous once VHS went obsolete and digital formats were the new standard.
Since then, all their mainline codes have started with JU...-, maybe as part of tradition? To make cataloging easier?

For reference, past code prefixes are:
>JUK (VHS format, short-lived if i recall correctly)
>JUKD (Dec '03 – Dec '08) (digital format)
>JUC (Jan '09 – Dec '12)
>JUX (Jan '13 – Oct '16)
>JUY (Oct '16 – Oct '19)
>JUL (Oct '19 – Jun '22)
>JUQ (Jun '22 – Present)
>JUS (VHS format) and JUSD (digital format) are compilations
>JUMS (Dec '22 - Present) are compilations
>JUVR are VR releases

It's also why Fitch (formerly a Madonna subsidiary label) similarly has codes beginning with JU...-, even to this day. Their VR codes are an exception, though
>JUFD (Nov '07 – Dec '18) (the "D" likely also stemming from the Digital designation when that was still relevant)
>JUFE (Jan '19 – Present)
>JUNY (Dec '18 – Present) (Nikuyoku sub-label)
>JFB are their compilation releases

it is a mystery
if i could meaningfully predict the future, i would be winning the lottery and spending all my winnings on taking care of a mature woman harem instead of speculating on shoko's possible return haha

>What can we expect
honestly have no idea other than possibly each of the different sublabels doing their own thing for it
the 10 year anniversary (JUX-215) wasn't really my thing since there's so many dudes involved. it was a kind of married women's association traditional festival orgy
JUY-703 for the 15 year anniversary was pure kino with the whole Madollars billionaire harem scenario

bravo! sadly, it'll probably something we instruct an AI to create for us one day

i'm guessing coloured water since it's would be cheaper and easier to clean than apple juice

one hagsir's (i.e. my) interpretation - feel free to discuss and debate

>Faux-Hag
not actually a mature woman and usually in alleged mid-20s but often thrust into motherly, nurturing roles. considered mature when compared to others in peer group. comparable to the big sister type, but with a more overtly mature feeling. in other cases, it might simply be that the given context in a scenario has defined them as such for whatever reason. a greater degree of suspension of disbelief sometimes required to accept the presented role
e.g. Nao Jinguji, Mina Kitano, etc

>Quasi-Hag
typically in the allegedly early 30s (occasionally late 20s) range and, while still youthful in appearance, does not look out of place fulfilling more mature roles given the convincing hag energy even at this stage. earlier standards of giving the impression of being more mature than those of a similar age can still be relevant here
-- e.g. Yuu Shinoda, Kana Morisawa, Aya Ueha, An Komatsu, etc

>Pseudo-Hag
secretly on the older side but does not exude much hag energy. looks may or may not belie actual age. not usually associated with mature roles even if age is an open secret. in some cases, may also be a result of habitual (over)compensatory youthful behaviour to deliberately further obscure any sense of maturity. another hag scholar and a dear colleague eloquently describes a Pseudo-Hag as being "...at the age of hagdom, but lacks the hag 'anima' that energises the overall hag characteristic". uncommon
-- e.g. Julia, Iroha Natsume, Saki Okuda, etc

>Semi
the ripening process is undeniably underway and certainly discernible but not nearly to the extent where her ripeness is the most obvious or immediately distinguishing feature. typically/allegedly late 30s to early or maybe even mid 40s.
-- e.g. Kana Mito, Hijiri Maihara, Ryo Ayumi, Ririko Kinoshita, Yuu Kawakami, Marina Shiraishi, Tsubaki Katou, etc

>Classic
a very representative and unambiguously older woman but at the same time still unambiguously beautiful; an idealised version/interpretation of the mature woman archetype
-- Maki Hojo, Mariko Sata, Momoko Isshiki, Yumi Kazama, etc

>True
the ripening process has now led to more obviously waning looks but this does not necessarily mean ugly. a less idealised and more realistic representation of the older woman archetype, and especially applicable to real life. typically begins around the allegedly 50 mark, where not even east asian genes, a careful diet, rigorous exercise regimen, flattering make-up, perfect lighting, and clever editing can stave off all discernible effects of the menopause. many tend to be amateurs but some have made their name in this category, or simply stuck around long enough to graduate from the preceding ripeness tiers
-- Hitomi Enjo, Honoka Nakayama

>Ultimate
the absolute limit of human possibility, literally. this is the pinnacle of an old woman, the final phase before departure. it can't get any riper than this
-- e.g. Link's grandma

===

when a hag is between categories and/or displays traits from a number of designations, that's when compound labels come into play like Semi-Classic (Reiko Kobayakawa), Quasi-Pseudo, Pseudo-Semi, etc.
also note that these are not meant to be rigid and concrete and dogmatic. interpretations may differ as ripeness is difficult to empirically quantify. moreover, this system is not intended for grouping and categorising for its own sake, but to better facilitate more appropriate discussions and recommendations. the industry gave us a single umbrella term: "mature woman"/jukujo/熟女. the hagchads' contention is that this is far too vague and imprecise; this genre deserves a far more granular and nuanced view and is exactly what this system offers.
