Well even though I specialize in MA with my character I can sling spells well enough to trick the mages in the mage guild. Crystal spear does overtake magic dart but depending on how far you leveled magic dart will determine how fast crystal spear overtakes it. Could take awhile if you used magic dart for a long time. Meteor is the best damage scaling spell in the game.

The resist cap in the void for most monsters seem to be superb everything except magic which is at normal. The resists mainly follow that trend with a few exceptions due to racial bonuses or monster features. For instance undead being weak against fire. Current meteor spell lv for me is 1078 and regular meteor damage down in the void for me is around 640k. Particular monsters weak to fire turn into extra crispy things when they take around 4 million damage. I'm guessing at cap meteor normal damage might do around 1.2 million damage if resists don't change down in the void. I don't think they will though as I haven't seen any change for at least 500 floors now. Magic is fine for endgame.

Not sure I follow. Bleeding is definitely a problem for any metal pet initially due to low life but once you boost life to default levels like 100 bleeding is a problem of the past. Mainly because you can just heal it before it becomes a problem if you have a sufficient amount of HP to begin with. I suppose early on you can equip gear that helps diminish blood loss or whatever that enchant is called if bleeding is a problem you need to stomp out.
