should I call my friends or stay on /jp/. I know you guys tend to be very hostile against people who blatantly violate the rules or try to go against the idiosynchratic qualities of the threads you so love, but I really wanna know why I'm so into this board. It's like you guys take it easy, but also jump up against your foes with such grace that I get hypnotized.

Sorry for the unrelated topic, but I have no other approach from getting the real feedback of /jp/.

Yukari once again suggested that the moon is the mother of all youkai. The moon created shadows, the shadows created fear, and the fear created youkai. The mock battles and events we saw in the games were to keep the 'fear' alive. Yukari is the Jesus of Gensokyo, and savior to all youkaikind.

The lunar war is a testament to how much ZUN fails at storytelling. How is it even possible that the American military of the late 60s were on par with the lunarian military? It's just not possible. Let's do a comparison, shall we. America as a nation has only existed for 2 centuries. Eirin alone is at least 10 times older than the USA. Since lunarians live longer that means they're inherently more productive and smarter than us. By the time we managed to invent the lightbulb the lunarians probably had fusion technology. And this isn't even taking into consideration of how much faster innovations would occur with the help of magic. Not to mention the fact that we humans (even to this day) are hopeless in a space environment. In WW2 we struggled to get our guys on a beach in Normandy. The time, money, and effort it would have took to bring 20 (let alone 200) troops to the moon back in the 70s would have bankrupted even the richest of Nations. Not to mention the fact that once these untrained space soldiers got on the moon they would have been.... What the fuck am I even saying. This is retarded.

Either I'm overestimating the power of the lunarians or ZUN is a shitty storyteller.
