No, it will be split into two films.

Which is part of the reason why I'm hesitant to allow myself to get too excited for this.

The LotR films were a trilogy because the books are a trilogy (although Tolkien always intended for LotR to be a single book).

The Hobbit is a single 200 something page book and I don't know how they're going to make two movies out of it.
