Oh boy the Kakuma nickname issue came up again on Can Choume this week thanks to a listener mail leading to a story about her being embarrassed after her little brother asked why other seiyuu were calling her Kuma-chan. 5 years ago when she was a nobody doing Radio Dot Ai she wanted a different one but it never went anywhere.

There's a perfectly good reason for it but I still feel so bad about Kakumama.
