How do u learn japanese?

It's best to focus on learning vocabulary and just using kanas until you have a pretty good grasp of the language and can understand anime and read japanese manga and light novels that have furigana and just leave kanjis to later when you're confident on japanese and simply learn them over time?

My goals would be to watch anime without subs, play some japanese rpg maker eroges and talk to japanese online on their chans and newtouyo.

日本語しゃべる人がたくさんいるかな。一緒にれんしゅうしましょうか？なぜ日本語勉強する？「日本語が一番きれいな言語だから」と思うから。

Where's the Japanese Language thread? I can't find any on /jp/ or /a/.

International Business student here. Not sure if I should take some Japanese language classes? They have registrations open for one that's $200, 2 hours once a week, 8 weeks, 16 hours total.

Reading about working in Japan depresses the fuck out of me though. Maybe an American job that deals with Japan would be better but no idea what to shoot for.

I've been going at it for about two months now. Still can only say a couple of basic sentences. Let me know if you're also learning, I got a mumble server with other friends who are also learning.
