Hi /jp/ - I've got a favor to ask. Several years ago I studied abroad in Japan for a few months, and lived with a nice Japanese family. We exchange letters about once a year to keep in touch. There's just one catch - I can't read a bloody thing they write. Handwritten kanji are nothing but moon chicken scratchings to me. I can't even make enough out to look them up in a dictionary. Up until now I've gotten random native Japanese speakers to translate them for me, but I've since estranged and/or moved away from all the ones I know. I figure here would be my best bet to find help.

A thousand internets to anyone who manages to decipher this crazy thing for me.
