Having watched Puyo Puyo Tetris for years, I can't help but think that the problem with Puyo at this intermediate level is that very few clears causes so much harm to Tetris side.
Fix?
Make Puyo resolution bigger, as in much longer play area like Tetris has, you have to clear more puyos to be equal to Tetris.

It's crazy that 2-combo puyo clear sends like 4 shit to Tetris side instantly.
