And though she was far from the land that she’s from, she now stays where the magic ones roam.
Among the faeries and ghosts and mysterious beings, she has a small place she belongs.
Making friends of spell-casters and beings of the night, somehow the girl still gets along.
Though by some of this land she’s looked down upon still, for her difference in origins and power,
She lives out her days standing guard at the gate, but will nap just to pass by the hours.
You see among her own kind she’s as strong as they come, having honed the combat of body and mind.
In her new home the beings of magic surpass her, so she often will get left behind.
So while the world sees her sleeping and carefree, her duty being shirked as she lay.
She dreams of the glory of being the strongest, and imagines it until that day.
That day when her work be rewarded, and her great power acknowledge as so.
But that time never may come for this dreamer, who lives in the hidden world of Gensokyo.
