Offtopic but I'm an rebellious badass.
Does anyone know how to make this image artefact clean up / contrast enhancement effect? I've seen this a lot so it's gotta be some dumb magic tool in Photoshop or similar all the cool kids are using. Case in point, the top here is TL and derives from the bottom one (JP original), but obviously looks better. These are GAIRA TLs btw so at least their translator should know the trick.
