Also, when running 911, EMS has to MAKE the patient stable before they can be transported. This, of course, includes CPR, control of bleeding and shock, and immobilization of orthopedic injuries as well as maintaining such interventions during a possibly complicated extraction process (like narrow twisting hallways, up and down hills, vehicle entrapments, etc.)

That being said, my JOB is medical transport and I'm usually little more than a glorified babysitter/cab driver between hospitals and nursing homes. I only run 911 calls when I volunteer.

>He's frantically trying to get it out (it's buried in the bottom with his other stuff), clearly embarrassed that his powerlevel has been revealed

>Stunned silence from the kid
>Look him square in the eye and say "Who's your oshimen?"

I think he stopped wanting to kill himself after that.
