It feels like Erika could have been much more interesting and effective character than her current self. Representing various women in the story, since there is much known about the real Furudo Erika, such as:
>Kinzo's wife: forced marriage with Battller who in turn represents Kinzo in ep6
>Yasu: obsession with Battler, hatred towards Natsuhi, detective novel protagonist
>Ange: the Witch of "Truth", blue vs red pigtails, both are Bernkastel's pawns and they get along pretty well in the magic ending
>real Furudo Erika: I've always assumed the reason she is so obsessed with truth is, because her death is still remains as mystery IRL and created dozens of fanfics written by Goats

Also I think Erika herself committed suicide between October 4th and 5th.
