Is there a good way to memorize kanji efficiently? I don't have a problem reading them when studying (because I already know what the context gonna be and the vocab of each particular exercise), but whenever I try reading stuff myself, I get lost in everything more complicated than grade 1. Too many radicals and whatnot.
Is there a trick for this, or should I just bite the bullet and continue grinding them till I get gud?
