It's funny how strong feelings people have about determinism of the universe.

Einstein, for example, was a pretty smart and level-headed guy. He was good at reasoning, understanding and explaining complex concepts so simply that a kid could understand them. But when it came to quantum mechanics, he famously said that God doesn't play dice with the universe. Not trying to explain why. Just going with that feeling, with an angry exclamation about God that he didn't even believe in.

What is it about determinism that gives even great minds such heavy cognitive bias?
