Cirno ducked, flying underneath the earthen ring aimed at her head, sliding forward in mid-air she manifested and threw an ice spear at Suwako, only for it to be harmlessly intercepted, shattering midair harmlessly as it made contact with Suwako’s aura.

Feeling a presence beneath her, she dodged upwards, turning her body to the side just fast enough to avoid the two earth saws that shot out of the ground, one of them grazed her, shaving off pieces of her wings.

Flipping herself over she launched a series of ice bullets towards Suwako, only for them to be shattered on the same aura as before. She remembered Yuugi doing something similar when they were fighting Suika. There really were some ridiculous people in the world, capable of killing you with their presence alone.

Dodging more buzzaws being launched from the ground Cirno had an epiphany, ‘The lake, there’s no way to fight her in the courtyard.’ Cirno dodged in the direction of the shrine, even just hovering over it for a moment would give her time to get to the lake.

A storm of jade bullets followed as she retreated in, freezing in mid-air only to burst into more earth rings that’d shoot at her, exploding into dirt and jade as they hit each other and landing on the shrine below. Spinning Cirno spun up familiars and had them puff freezing cold in order to deal with the stray weak bullets.

Cresting over the shrine and tumbling towards the lake, Cirno was only granted a moment of respite as the earth in front of the shrine began to rise. Her eyes widened as she saw a Mishaguji bursting forth from the ground and launching itself at her

Pulling with all of her might she grabbed a portion of the frozen lake below her and threw it at the subjugated earth god. The snake wretches backward as the chuck of ice hits it, spreading a wave of cold throughout its body, Cirno has killed and frozen enough frogs and snakes in time to be particularly skilled at freezing them, giving her a near-useless conceptual advantage against reptiles and amphibians.

Somersaulting through the air backward Cirno spun up more familiars, constructing a larger copy of herself around her body and shooting out larger snowball-like bombs in the direction of the shrine; she had seen that green-eyed bridge youkai do something similar before. Suwako jumped over the shrine, waving her hand in the air as she created it, only for several of Cirno’s ice bombs to make it to her, shattering when they reached her aura but forcing her to dodge as they exploded into projectiles.

The Pillars in the lake split into a series of concentric earthen rings, floating long enough for Cirno to realize her mistake before they fired, slamming into the armor she crafted. Falling towards the frozen lake Cirno braced for impact.

With a resounding crash, she and her armor smash through the frozen surface of the lake and earthen rings orbited her, the ice construct floating in the lake as Cirno exited it from the back, exhausted. Maybe she shouldn't have tried to copy a trick a youkai she defeated in under a minute used, or maybe she should have just not gone towards the lake.

As soon as she heard Suwako step on the frozen lake surface Cirno clapped her hands together. Her icen armor exploded, releasing a wave of cold, snow flames, and ice projectile in every direction, grabbing two huge chunks she flung them at where she heard Suwako last, unable to see through her own Blizzard.

Cirno felt a cold metal press against her neck as the blizzard cleared, “Game set and match, now let's talk about how to gather faith.” Suwako said, levitating above the frozen lake as earthen rings orbited both of them.
