I've been to both summer and winter comiket, and it was so enjoyable it wasn't even funny. It was crowded, hot, stood in line for 3 hours to get in, and loved every second of it.

It's an experience that you can't get anywhere else. Comiket is so much more than just ero doujins. So much music, art, crafts, jewelry, clothes. Hobbie stuff like trains, radios, photography, bikes, anything one could possibly enjoy has some representation.

When I go to comiket, it's to buy physical stuff that can't be acquired elsewhere. I've got these cute 2hu plushies, an engraving of a kancolle. Even an original hand drawn picture board thing of Ruby Rose. I had no clue there was a RWBY doujin scene in japan, but there were several circles with manga and physical goods.

People who think comiket is just porn are mistaken. It's only 90% porn.

Fun experience, highly rated stayed from open to closing everyday.

If you are in tokyo when it's happening, you'd be a fool to miss it
