Not gonna answer your question but I get really nostalgic when I remember all the scenes in the garden with Maria and the Rose, the soundtrack, the sound of the rain and wind. Umineko just seemed like a creepy story about a family trapped in an ominous mansion with strange satanic murders happening. I really like the early eps and when the story was "simpler". All the meta stuff and fantasy world is also great but sometimes I just like a good old "grounded" murder/mystery tale.
