Ya, dying inside a washing machine wasn't a good end, in my opinion. But, it was better than the bad end.

God, that game was so great. It was the first game that made me think "I wish I could forget it, so that I could play it again for the first time".

Ever17 isn't hated on /jp/, people just like posting the Amazon (I think) comments, such as "not worth the money" and "sucks to infinity"
