The only reason Okuu wanted to set fire to the surface to help fuel the Hell of Blazing fires. She really couldn't think of anything else since her power was just becoming too much for her to bear both physically and mentally. She couldn't control her power at all at first and had to release it, hence the geyser. The Yatagarasu pretty much drove her mad until Reimu came along and set things straight.

Ara, fanon overbrought her to a lack of worthy images, at least recently.

She's the epitome of badassery in SA, yet in Soku she reveals she has a concussion-based amnesia, but I don't mind, unfortunately others do.

IIRC she was the one who trained herself with the arm cannon before going nuts so she should know it more than the kappa, not like they know anything about nuclear power anyway.

So sad Okuu, the living goddess of destruction has been mostly shunned away as a mere expression. From you people's and some artist's thoughts of her I wouldn't be surprised if you think she can forget that she has to breath.

You can look at her from any point of view, as she possesses such characteristics that make it possible for any kind of personality to be implemented unto her, mixed with other traits of course.

But I stick with the one she's best at, hell yeah.

The only anime-ish aspect that I'd ever want relevant to Touhou would be a short OVA of crazy Okuu. Like a guilty pleasure.
