So, is NTR supposed to turn you on or what? Most NTR eroge I see is plain nukige. I don't understand.

I liked the execution NTR in Nozoki Ana, though it's not something that I found arousing. I'm genuinely curious, since it's been bugging me that NTR is so popular these last months. I understand some people identify with it and others like seeing the pain of the characters. But is that what turns people on or am I missing something else?
