HEY COOL I unplugged my router by kicking it on accident or something, love when that happens. But no really I was waiting for you on EFZ, you trust-betraying jerk. ;_;
Meltan's sensitivity just feels ungodly weird once you've been playing other shit, it's like every time you have to spend hours easing back in for it to not be frustrating as all fuck. But yeah no dehosted both, I'm leaving anyway. Timing sucks etc etc, take a nap or something.

Sup newfag. Ready to report territorial oaks for being off-topic?

>I-I know you're just as terrified as the barrel
Terrified OF the barrel anyway; I think we can come to an agreement that the barrel itself isn't very afraid if we take into consideration all the godlike powers it has. Being scared of it is prett normal though.

>Back in the day those 4 were Magister, Shy, ZomB, and Dimglow.
>Also you're missing ZomB and Shy.
Really? Well here, let's make it the elite six then: Magister, Shy, Shy, ZomB, ZomB, and Dimglow. Now nobody forgets them!

>>6011763
Well, not in MY day it wasn't. Then again I was a latecomer and assdoof had quit by the time I showed up; I did get to play him once when he was sadfacesanae though and I see why, but the 4 after then had stayed pretty stable.

As of now, from the looks of things, Magister and Guy are the only real legendary super gods above everybody else since Shy, ZomB, and Dimbro all went the way of DFO with a few not-quite-as-notable others. A bunch of people seem to think they belong there but my elite 4 were a group that was hailed and revered by everybody else, and right now the number isn't quite as big. Aw well, EFZ is a better game anyway. Tangent and I get to be the elite two~! ;___;

Well, it most certainly wasn't then, but I guess it can be now if you're really still around this late. Tell you what, I'll just host for days or weeks or whatever until you show up, unless I happen to be napping when you do it or something. It's really no big deal and you WILL get barrel'd today. Just sayin'.

That's very true; in fact, even in 1.03 Yukari wasn't all that great unless in extremely capable hands, so really all the idea of Yukari being "broken and easy to use" winds up being is an injoke from this one time I got salty when Dimglow popped up after I declared I was playing jokedecks before hosting; fun times.
In fact, back in the days of 1.03 and earlier, Okuu was considered bottom tier by everybody, so the first few times I saw her being considered near the top I wasn't even sure if I was just reading horrible troll posts or if the tourneyfag scene found out some crazy new ways to win with guardcrushes and wakeup 5a.
Everything's gotten really wacky since the good old days; I bet bob51 actually beats people now or something.

1.03 Suika.

By that logic every fighter - no, every multiplayer game in general - is a "fuckfest to balance."
... Which is true, sorry, carry on.

No dude, I'm like 100+ WPM, just treeagraphs aren't only words; they are works of art. Every once in a while I'll get up in the middle of typing to get a drink or sometimes, maybe I'll pause for no reason to just think of what it was I thought I was going to type and after a few minutes decide I just forgot about it.

You can't rush art, bro. I'm never in a hurry, so you should just take it easy and go blend some coffee or something. Maybe pull up a chair, sit back, relax, something like that. Watch the fireworks.

I don't even play this anymore but I guess it is installed now, so if it's a favor for my beloved /jp/, here you go:

Have fun or whatever, maybe I'll play it on my DDR pad. That sounds like a benevolent idea.

>I found learning curve for this much, much easier than that of Suimusou for example.

There, that's a bit more accurate. But really, having played good players and scrubs alike as well as having watched a bunch of moonrune tourneyfag videos, I can say that - although it's sort of difficult to phrase - combos are difficult to pull off effectively but actually... doing things isn't. The "learning curve" for getting used to things like timing RGs, ICing, hitconfirming supers, DPing on wakeup, etc isn't anywhere near as high as some of the more technical mainstream fightans out there, but it's true that this game revolves around 70% combos and similar bullshit in high-level play, which requires really precise timing and ridiculous amounts of practice to even begin to get right. Even the best players here in /jp/ botch them like 80% of the time.

That said, in matches where neither player knows every single property frame of every move their character has there's not a very steep curve for figuring out how to put a stop to the shit your opponent's doing, if you're still following me this far. So while I will say that the combos are so hard to learn that this may even top Guilty Gear and some notable others in how difficult it is to reach the maximum level of enlightenment that you see in Japanese tournament replays or whatever, there's really no need to reach that level to begin with over here because the scene is really, really small.

tl;dr it's only easy because we play for fun, tourneyfags have it tough.
