I'm going to Japan next year in spring with some friends. So far we have decided to go to: Kanazawa, Hiroshima, Kumamoto, Okayama, Shingu, Kinosaki, Tsuruga, Himeji, Kyoto, Kobe, Osaka, Nara and (of course) Tokyo.

What things should I not miss to do or to visit?

Besides visiting castles and being lost in Akihabara, I wanted to go to some anison concerts, and watch schoolgirls doing cute things.... but as far as I have read: Animelo is in summer, and you rarely watch girls in streets... Any recomendation?
