In that pic you can see the Maki on the left and Regular DX on the right. The Maki is the same weight, but the stomach area is slightly smaller. The hips are also a little bit narrower.
In this picture you can see the holes are the same, and they do feel like they have similar passages.
One thing to note is that I have beat the every living shit out of the Maki for over six months now, and it looks like it's in better shape than the brand new Regular DX.
