if you go to a con or hotel meet then sure, you can just be in kig or some other costume whilst with others and then have your own hotel room.
Going to other kinds of meets though, no. There needs to be some level of trust when strangers share a living space and having one guy doing shit like that doesn't really inspire trust.
I'm sure there's probably some kigs out there that would be ok with that for a meet if you laid it out clearly beforehand that you aren't comfortable with them seeing your face but I think that's going to be an incredible rarity overall.
