I started playing for Zuihou in July 2013, then it took me over 2 months to get her. I was doing carrier recipe all the time for dailies and got at least 15 Shouhous, once I reached 4-2 I was spamming that trying to get her to drop (not enough subs in the game back then to farm it with subs either). Finally had a beaver drop from 4-2 instead then my very next construction was Zuihou.

But it took so long to get her that my interest had shifted to other ships in the meantime; 5-2's compass requirement at least gave me an excuse to grind her on real sorties but I only got her to 60 or so then quit the game for months.

When I came back I realized who my true shipfu actually was, and grinded the hell out of 5-1 until I could marry Mochizuki and take it easy from then on.
